The UPI services across different applications went down yesterday for several users in India. Many users faced difficulty doing transactions due to this technical issue, and different apps have registered numerous complaints.
- As per Google Pay, around 296 complaints were registered by users nationwide.
- The Paytm app has registered 119 complaints by users who have faced issues while initiating a payment.

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has given a statement on X about the technical issue of UPI apps.
The corporation said the technical issue has led to the decline of UPI payments. The corporation has taken this into account, and the system has been stabilised. The users registered around 2,750 initial complaints.
